Kalila is the author of her diary-inspired memoir Fishing for Equilibrium,

as well as many poems, several of which have been printed in local California publications.

Her holiday stories "Kentucky Fried Christmas", "Christmas Kaleidoscope" and "Holiday Tenderness" appeared in the Bay News.

She works as a Trail Host at lovely Point Buchon trail (see Facebook) and sings with Cuesta Master Chorale. She lives on the beautiful California Central Coast where she enjoys hiking and taking photos such as Morro Bay Rock shown above.
